Michelle's Biography

I am a Transgendered woman, This all started when I was about 10 years old. I used to borrow clothes from my friends sisters for my wardrobe. When the web came about I found out that I wasn't alone there were many others just like me and the information that was available was incredible, So I worked on perfecting my image but still didn't have the courage to step out. Well I finally built up enough courage and on August 7, 1999 Michelle stepped out into the real world for the first time, What an incredible feeling all the stress from keeping this buried inside of me for all those years was suddenly gone, It was like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. I was free at last! I will Never-Ever bury this inside of me again. The stress almost killed me once, I won't let it have a second chance. Since I came out in 1999 I have learned a lot about myself and where I am heading, Though I don't consider myself as a transsexual, I do feel the need to live the rest of my life as Michelle 24/7. Well it has finally happened the depression from trying to live as him still, has gotten to the point of being suicidal. I was very fortunate to start seeing a therapist before it was to late, even though there is no Medical or Psychological cure for Gender Dysphoria, there is a path of survival. At this point there are two paths in front of me one to survival and one leading to suicide. I have chosen to live, therefore I have taken the path to survival. This path consist of transitioning, since one can not change the brain to match the body, one must change the body to match the brain. This consist of Hormone Replacement Therapy, Electrolysis and a lot of other things including a legal name change. On July 6, 2004 I legally became Michelle it was the happiest day in my life or you might say it was the first day of the rest of my life. I have never been so happy and to have inner peace is priceless.
